Job Description

The Buyer will be responsible to lead and manage the business relationship between NanoX and its suppliers (components, contract manufacturers. Indirect).


  • Managing the commercial aspects of the business with the selected supplier, includes pricing, RFP’s, quotes and biding of new and ongoing products supply and services.
  • Perform commercial negotiation for machine’s parts and Assemblies / frame agreements, issue Po’s and secure delivery on time.
  • Eliminate and reduce delivery risks along the supply chain.
  • Organization focal point for suppliers’ related matters.
  • CM’s focal point for all commercial related matters
  • Lead and perform Supplier Performance Review plan to ensure supplier performance level according to the requirements.
  • Leading cost reduction efforts.


  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering or B.A. in Economics or Business management – a must!
  • M.B.A or M.A. or M.Sc. – an advantage.
  • 5 years of experience as a contract manufacturing buyer in a hi-tech or medical company, managing supplier spend of 5-10M $ annual.
  • Great commercial sense related the contract manufacturing industry, understanding the cost model structure and the manufacturing business model.
  • Technical ability to understand drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Evaluates requirements to determine new orders & scheduled deliveries according to production and forecast schedule.
  • Negotiates pricing and delivery schedules prior to awarding suppliers' orders.
  • Work with Engineering to approve replacement material for obsolete parts.
  • Team player, Independent, assertive, “Out of the box” thinker, problem solver.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, Office & PLM systems.
  • English – high level.
